Hi, I live in Belize, Central America. I am very new to keeping sheep. At the moment I have four, one of which is pregnant. Two young rams and a young ewe, plus miss preggers. They have been tethered and on grass, they are now in a paddock, which they have nibbled down a lot. We are building a second, and then a third adjoining paddock for rotation, the second one should be finished in a few days. In the meantime, I am feeding them sheep feed mixed with rice finings and a glob of molasses (about half a bucket a day), also chucking in cut grass, banana leaves and plantains. They look healthy, neither fat nor thin, and although they like their food they don't look anxious about it. Am I doing the right thing?
