angoras in or near CT?

Would love to get an angora this spring. The bunny would be a pet and the wool would go to a dear local spinning friend who has an angora of her own. Just looking to see if anyone breeds around me (Eastern CT) and what might be available soon. We have a big pet Californian and I had another pet rabbit so we're not new to bunny ownership, just fiber. Thanks for any info!

Oh, I remember who you are now! You use a different name on one of the forums don't you? You aren't far from me at all. I think we want a doe. Not sure about color. I'll take a look. Thanks for getting back to me!

On BYC I am PineBurrowPeeps

I have had so much interest in my rabbits that I am actually off to breed another litter today because I won't have enough!!! LOL

I am going to breed Gay's Daphne to Platt's Peter (see them on my site under Does and Bucks), the color predictions for this litter will be:
Chestnut/Copper agouti, Opal, Black, Blue, Fawn, Black Tort, Cream, and Blue Tort.
With a 50% chance of solids and brokens.

Should be a nice litter if I say so myself.

Now the litter I have due on the 25th of this month should contain, Black, Blue, and Chocolate.
