Tundra gave birth to twin boys. This is the first one, weighing in at 9.0 lbs!!

And this is Buck #2 weighing in at 9.38 lbs!!

The kids came out perfectly, hooves and noses first! I helped a little with the first one, but the second slid out no problem! But here's a question, the second buck came out with a mustard/egg yolk goo all over him. Was this his own poop? Do I have anything to worry about if this is the case? He seems perfectly fine, nursing, active and alert....

Now I'm watching my other doe, but unless things change quickly, I'll have a few days to recover from my anxiety on this one. Had I known that all I had to do to induce labor was post on this site, I would've done it last week for sure!!:D:lol:

Some of them get the poop squeezed out of them during the labor process. The thing to watch for is lung issues, but I've never had one get sick from meconium in the amniotic fluid.

CONGRATS! :weee
