Today my neighbor's dog found a baby bird that had fallen out of the nest and into the yard. My neighbor got to the bird before the dog did so the bird has no apparent injuries. My neighbor brought to me and said "your good with this kind of stuff, take it". I know it is really REALLY hard to keep a baby bird alive but I want to try to give it a chance. It seems pretty healthy. I've been giving it water from a syringe and it was peeping with its mouth open so I was feeding it some mashed up mealworms. It has pooped a couple times as well. Do any of you have experience with baby birds? Should I be giving/feeding it anything else? You can tell what size it is in the pic below compared to a quarter. Also, do any of you know what type of bird it could be?

Being the baby is all feathered out, you have a good chance of it living. I usually get them before they have any feathers and their eyes are still not open! Those are hard to keep alive!

I bet there are lots of websites on the feeding of baby birds.

Yes, here are a few...
