HELLOOOO!!! Lol. Beautiful needle felting. :clap I just got into it recently and I am totally hooked. I love doing it so much. I've been doing ferrets and Santas. I've been using my sheep's wool and it's amazing what you can make out of wool.

Thanks-- I love Bridgemoof's ferrets too!
I teach art classes for kids
ages 7 and up. We have a great time using the wool from our goats. Being in the city,
some kids have never been that close to a goat before. I love taking them for walks in my neighborhood-

Needle felting has definitely become an obsession.

I'm poking right now! lol I'm working on a mini ferret. My santa's are the best so far, though. I made an angel tree topper, too.

The first time I saw needle felting was at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. The kids were doing it in an activities tent. And they were LITTLE kids, and they were all poking the wool with those dangerous little needles. I laughed. Do your young kids do it?

Does anyone have a picture of the process....I am having a hard time imagining this.....how you get from a loose bunch of wool to an animal or person....

Yes -the kids are ages 7 and up. We talk a lot about the needles and the dangers before we start. We have drops of blood, but no tears. I think they feel the privilege of working with "grownup" tools. The only problem I've had is with the number of broken needles. I go through a LOT of needles-
