I went to walmart and decided to pick up some apple wood sticks for my rabbit, they are really GREAT for his teeth and all but he ate one yesterday and almost done with another one today .

Its just a stick and its made for rabbits, but would it hurt to give him one everyday ?

No, it wouldn't hurt him at all. Rabbits are suppose to have something to chew on all the time, since their teeth are always growing.

No it's hard wood. Good for them. Good for their teeth and builds strength. Very good for their digestive system.

Glad to hear your bunny likes his treats. :)

We have an abandoned orchard near us and I go cut apple wood sticks for my guys. Used to cut them for the parrot when we had him but that was years ago.

If you know somebody with an apple tree you can cut your own and just dry them near a heating grate or the wood stove rather than pay Walmart some amount of dollars for a stick. That was my feeling anyway. L.
If you think rabbit toys are expensive, try parrot toys. Holy Moly! It makes you get real creative, real fast.

Lucky you. We have a couple of apple orchards in the area. My only concern is the fertilizers used. I would have to approach the farmer to see what he uses and if it's OK to trim. There are few abandoned, but by the time you note them, they are all knocked down, piled up and set on fire. You know, development.

Yes so true getting creative with animals toys. Have a neighbor with a Parrot and yes, their toys are expensive. Especially the ones that you buy and they don't touch. For whatever reason. Oh well, so much for trial and error. :)
