:somad Oh, man, that really sucks eggs!

I hate it when people pretend to be what they are not and that an innocent life suffered because of it.

Wasn't a bit your fault though I am glad that you won't sell to them again.

Some people shouldn't be allowed to own animals (or have kids but that's a different topic)

:hugs

I reread the email a bit ago...

I am upset by the cavalier "Oh, btw..the kid died" way he informed me, too. Like it wasn't important.

You guys are right, some folks SHOULDN'T have critters....they got their 1st and last from me.

It seems obvious that he knows it is their fault that the buckling died....otherwise, why would he be trying to buy another from you? Sheesh. :hugs I wouldn't sell to them anymore, either. I'll be learning all these lessons this spring as I sell my kids for the first time. I'm already scheming as to how many can I keep....the answer is zero, yet.....

I can feel for you. Soooo Frustrating.

But I will have to say I have used Land O' Lakes kid milk replacer for years, and they have done wonderfully on it. Maybe different brands aren't as good, or they just weren't going out there often enough to feed him. We felt the milk replacer was less expensive than whole milk and they did just as well on it. Infact they grew faster than most our kids that were still on the does.
But I have never done a comparison between milk replacer and whole milk to compare the difference of performance.

I've never had an issue w/ replacer either. Perhaps it's the brand difference. All I know is that it would be WAY more expensive to feed whole milk for me, so I stick with the good quality replacer.

The other sad part of this is that it doesn't even matter what business you're in... These sorts of people are everywhere and it's NEVER their fault. :smack
