What is good to use for arthritis as I believe our 16 yr. old Highland bull has to watch him get up a bit on the slow side. Any natural remedies or particular products we could get to help him through the winter?
I really don't think there is anything. I know we've had to ship cows due to arthritis. We have one right now we're watching and if she has problems she will have to be shipped.
I would hesitate to use a horse one on a cow unless your vet says you can. I know our vet says there really isn't much we can do. Maybe if he is out on pasture it's possible but, truthfully, if he is having trouble when he is out and able to wonder he is probably really bad. Our older cows that develop arthritis usually do well when they can be outside except for milking. It's this time of the year when they spend most of their time indoors that it becomes a problem. The cow we're watching is a 10 year old holstein.
Most people have had a minor knee problem at one time or another. Most of the time our body movements do not cause problems, but it's not surprising that symptoms develop from everyday wear and tear, overuse, or injury. Knee problems and injuries most often occur during sports or recreational activities, work-related tasks, or home projects.recently i read great information about joint supplement on following websites you can refer this websites for more about joint pain and some joint supplements. jointhealthmagazine.com
