Guys,
I'm a goat man and have several (16 to be exact) coming to my land over the next few weeks. Picking up 3 over the weekend. My first addition to the family came to the farm today, a 36 inch tall Jenny who is more than likely 2 months pregnant. Just wormed her and sprayed her legs to keep the flies off today.
I got her as a guardian and she will more than likely give birth next March or April. Goats (well Kikos in my case) are very easy to give birth. I don't know much about donkeys at all????
Will she be okay on her own next Spring or should I make plans to be around when she has her baby (is it foal with a donkey, is that the right term???) Man, she is a sweetheart and already has made an impression on us today. And she has run with goats before, that's why I got her.
Just curious on the birthing part. Thanks guys.
