Well bluebells litter developed "normally" as i would call it... eyes started to open right at 2 weeks old (some a day or 2 after) and exploration started pretty much imediatly after that.
Rowans litter however...
they are JUST over a week old (1 week old was thursday)
the past couple of days those babies are mobile (rowan refused a traditional nest box and instead decided to nest in a (CLEAN) litterbox and 3-4 times a day im putting those babies back in that box.) and today i whent out to take pictures and of her 8 bebies, 6 are starting to open their eyes! i dont just mean looking like there trying, i mean theres more than a slit, one of the white babies is going to hace its eyes completly wide open by tomorrow...
is this "normal" 10 days old seems a little early to me.
these are rex (standard) first time momma. everyone looks otherwise normal, not abnormally large or small no odd phsycial development in terms of limbs ect (though a few of them have slightly larger than normal ears which look quite comical) they just seem to be "growing up" faster than other litters ive been involved with.
