I have three silver fox rabbits, two does and a buck.
They are being housed separately, but the two does did share a cage for a few days.
They each have a bald spot, between the base of their neck and their shoulder blades. They have to lower their head for me to see it, Its no bigger than my thumb. The skin under it is healthy, not red nor irritated, nor crusty, just normal looking healthy skin. The fur around the bald spot is nice a shiny and soft, just like the rest of their fur. The cages are cleaned daily. The rabbits are otherwise clean, healthy and active. Nothing else going on but this small bald spot.
I went over them with a fine toothed comb.....literally. I saw no evidence of creepy crawlies. I sat and watched them for a while, they do not seem to itch.
Soooo, for all I know they are supposed to have a little bald spot and I have been worried over nothing........
Whatdya thing? (I'll try to post pics later if they are needed)
