Sam has the color, but conformation first, and he has that too, I usually don’t waste my time trying to market a commercial ram, but he is really well put together.

Y’all looky what I found yesterday morning! Cleopatra, of Texas Five fame, had a single ram lamb. He is a big boy, just hours old, strong, stays close to mom. I sent his picture to my friend Sarah and she sent back, his name is Sam-and so it is.

At just hours old, he has great conformation. Sam has what I call “it”. He has the “it” factor. Sam will grow into a very nice ram and I can see it from the first glance. Then add on that bodacious color! That throws on the WOW! factor on top of the “it” factor. I’m going to record him as half Katahdin and offer him up for sale as a commercial sire.
