Oh man - that fence looks fantastic!! Seriously awesome. And Ohhhh that feeling of looking at it has got to be on the list of Good Feelings!

OH WOW! What a relief to have it done, really DONE!! Yea for money to be able to get it done!!

They just left. Nearly 8 PM. They worked in the dark with headlights on, and finished up. I’m so happy to have this done. I have rye grass seed to sow tomorrow. It’s supposed to start raining tomorrow afternoon, so I’ll be out there in the morning tossing rye grass seed.

The Anatolians have enjoyed themselves, hating on the fence crew. If they weren’t growling and barking, they sat at the fence on their side of the driveway, glaring at the men. They went berserk over the 4 wheeler. The dogs barked so much, I called them to me for fresh water. But at 3:00, Sentry led the way down the fence to the gate, his pretty white feet flashing in the sunlight. They sat at the gate, time to EAT! After they ate, it was battle stations again.

I’m worn out. I’ve been pulling and digging green briar roots all day. There was a huge mass right under the fence. I dug on one side, then went around to the road and dug on that side. Went back around and dug some more, finally breaking it loose and I got it out. It was the length of the tractor bucket, four feet.

This is a picture of a fence on the L part of the field. Two gates, later I can divide it with a fence from one of the H braces to the property line fence, seen in the background.

It’s pouring down rain. I put out 50 pounds of rye grass seed on all the bulldozed dirt. It’s getting pounded in now-or washed away, LOL.

I’m tired.

Just as I was waking up, power went off. So I made boiled coffee in a pot on top of the stove. Tossed in a few ice cubes to settle the grounds, voila!

It stormed last night. Waiting on daylight so I can go outside.

Great job on fence. Check where you dug out the green briar roots under fence to make sure that rain doesn't wash out a big hole under the fence.

I did check it, it was ok. Rye grass wasn’t washed away. Got 1 1/2” of much needed rain.
