Here at my farm I rely on word of mouth, classified ads and posting notices in feed stores when it comes time to sell my hogs. I would like to know what additional methods you have found successful.

I'll try that, although I will have to target restaurants instead of just stores. I live a few miles passed the middle of no where down the old dirt road no one has ever been down so the term 'local' will have to encompass a few counties. :)

I have had knuckleheads stop by the farm here and give me lip when I sell them eggs because there are white ones in there. I merely point at my hens in the pasture and ask them how I am supposed to make that white chicken lay a brown egg- they get the picture pretty quickly. I am convinced that the 'brown egg' Producers have the same PR Agency as the 'Black Angus' Producers do! :)
