BEst way to tell if your doe is preganat?

I have a nubian doe that was exposed to a Buck. Anyone know a way to tell if they are preggers without havin to take them to the vet?

If she's 2 months or more pregnant, get a shot of her vulva and post it. I can usually tell yes or no from that. It will start to gradually change shape and "pooch" a little if she is bred. Also, you can try putting your hands on her stomach right in front of the udder and gently pushing upward with your palms. If she is pregnant you will usually feel what feels like a basketball, a round hard-ish sort of lump inside her. That's not as accurate as the pooch, but still works on some does. There's no guaranteed accurate way outside of a blood test or ultrasound, which requires a vet, or at least drawing blood to mail to a lab. If you can afford $15-20 and can draw blood yourself, you can have a lab test her for you--there's a few in the country, just do an online search for goat pregnancy testing.
