My male has taken to biting fingers, I think its because he gets a treat every time someone visits him, but its getting rather annoying.
Is there anyway I can teach him that biting is bad without teaching him any other bad habits in the process?

It shouldn't. When I have a goat doing that I give them a little smack on the nose. It doesn't have to be hard. If he does start to head but then of course, don't do it anymore. Giving a little smack has always worked for me. And not just for biting but other things to. It doesn't hurt them but the don't like it and that should be enough to deter them.

If you don't want to smack, you could flick; but with all of your fingers so it has a thunk to it. Not enough to hurt, but hard enough to get their attention. That worked better than smacking for me

Some people will carry a spray bottle of water and spritz them in the nose when they nibble

If the nose smack does not work I will try the spray bottle, perhaps it will work like with the dogs. Mix mostly water with some vinegar and spray'em in the nose when he bites. Hopefully one or the other will work.
The little bugger thinks its funny when he bites and then rip's his head up to jab me with his teeth; the little fart...

Anyway, thank you very much!!!
