So, I've been looking for another baby to go with my almost 5 month old pygmy. I had an email about some females the same age that are boer crosses with brush goats. Those are gonna be huge aren't they? Is that really a good idea with a pygmy? I also have 2 adult pygmys, 1 nanny and one wether. I'm ok with bigger but don't want my little ones to get hurt.

I don't know what someone means by brush goat. That isn't a breed so I'm guessing they are mixed goats. You may want to look at them first to see how big they are. Although large goats can get along fine with small goats. I have an Alpine/Nubian cross and a Boer that get along fine with my Nigerian Dwarfs. If the goat is young, that will help even more. I would make sure they don't have horns. They could get hurt if the goat has horns.

I have a 14 week old Boer/Nubian doeling in with 2 full grown Pygmy's and they are more than a match for her. It depends on what you're comfortable with. You may find they'll be fast and best friends.

The only issue I have ever heard of putting pigmys in with big goats was concerning the little goats horns. A goat farmer near me had a pigmy accidently skewer a big goat in the stomach from underneath. If the little ones have horns, this may be a concern.

Yep, they are mix breeds. See them listed alot around where I live. Well, I knew where they were located so I drove by. Those goats were HUGE!! and had horns. ....adults had massive horns!
My adult girl's a bit bossy to the 5 month old. I sure would hate for her to tick off a big goat since she weighs 36lbs. But then again after seeing the way she treated the 5 month old, I can easily see her stabbing a horn in the abdomen of a bigger goat.
