I have a young ewe who seems to have bottle jaw. I have sent pictures to people and they have all agreed it was bottle jaw. They all instructed me to worm her. I worm her and it goes away but comes back within a few days. I wormed her with a really strong dose a coiuple of days in a row and it went away then came back. All the other sheep with her have not had it at all. They all have a good color in thier eye pigment. All have been wormed recently but she came right back with the jaw lump. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you had a fecal run on her? She may have parasites that aren't affected by the wormer you are using. I would suggest to get a fecal test done and include coccidia. Then worm appropriately.

I used Valbazen at a high rate for three days in a row. Like I said it helped then the bump came right back. A fecal test would be my next step. Also they get coccidia everyday in the feed.
