:):):)hi am fairly new to all this and was wondering instead of taking to doe to the buck i have let them run around for a couple of hours together on my back lawn together i am pretty shore it worked does anyone see any problems with doing it this way(they cant escape):)

Neutral territory is fine, but I'd worry about letting them run around the yard, if for no other reason that I might not witness the act, and might not be there to break up potential fights.

yeah i thought that i sat out there with a cuppa and the kids and watched them the hole time he mounted her about 4 times and then they went there seperate ways

Sounds like a succesful breeding to me. The reason for taking the doe to the buck is that it's his territory and she's more likely to be submissive while there. If you take the buck to the doe she might defend her territory and fight him. If the buck fights the doe instead of mating sometimes it works to do it the other way round.
