We started raising pigs this summer. We are considering keeping a couple females to breed (thinking AI). First how complicated is AI, I was able to locate Large black semen online easily figuring that woul be a good fit we currently have mixed heritage breed pigs. Second do the males need to be casterated, I know it's not as simple as banding our calf. What else needs to be done ?
