Chillin' with the herd
well went out to bring the girls in and one was allready out so got some grain and she came running. while i was checking them over for injuries i discovered that my dairy doe has broken off the the outside of her horns tips off. she is a saanen/alpine doe about 4 months old now i think
she is in with a supposed 3 month old pygmy i say supposed because she is just now getting horn buds but thats another story. their out door pen is made out of mostly chainlink fencing with field fencing as a gate. there are some cinder blocks in there for them to play king of the hill on and also 6 chickens whom the goats think its fun to chase and make fly.

what do i do? is this going to hurt her? is she lacking something that is making her horns weak? she get some goat grain everyday horse quality timothy hay to keep her occupied in the day and then is let forage broadleaf in the outdoor pen. thanks
