We went for a little drive yesterday to take a look at some bunnies and brought home 4. Im not quite sure on two of the colors though?
This netherland dwarf doe is either a lilac or a blue? :idunno

That first ND is a blue, too dark to be lilac. Is the foot cocked out like that all the time? Or just for this picture.....? Very cute rabbits!

Thanks. No she's just showing off her legs. They are all skittish so it was very hard to make them stay in one place.

I vote blue on the ND doe, too. Lilac has a sort of pinkish tinge to it; that pink fleece is making it tough to tell!

The buck is a Siamese Sable. The shaded (Siamese) coloring is temperature-dependent, much like the Himi. The color on the "shadeds" varies with the seasons, as the skin cools when they shed, it can come in a much different shade than it was. I once had a Siamese Sable Jersey Wooly doe that pulled almost all of her fur out when she had babies. When it grew back in, she was nearly black - all over!

Nice rabbits!:thumbsup

So are you going to breed the Netherland Dwarf with the Flemish Giant? ;)
