Ahoy!

I have the same username on Backyard Chickens, I thought it would be a good idea to keep the same username on the sister site. Anyway, I joined up with BYH because next spring I will be welcoming a pair of dwarf Nigerian doe kids into my life, if everything goes right! Joining this forum just makes sense! I already have done extensive research, and will have all winter to absorb information from this website as well. And of course, once they arrive and I have new mother syndrome, I'll have some reassurance from here!

I can't adjust my information until I have ten posts, so I'll share the basics here. I'm 22 from Escanaba, Michigan. Have a flock of chickens (mostly purebred Araucanas), honeybees, and 20 acres, so I am looking to add goats to my little piece of paradise.

:welcome from New Jersey.

Always good to be prepared. But as much as you are prepared, what I'm reading with goats, or any animal, things pop up that no matter how much you research, you will be scratching your head. This is the place to be for those "head scratching" moments. Lots of good people here to help.

Congratulations on your New Does. :)

Lots of Goat lovers here, you should have NO problem with getting help and being enabled, lol. By next year we'll have you with cows, sheep, more goats and who knows what else.
