Can a single goat kid live with adult does?

Hello! I am new to goats and just have two doelings right now. I know you always have to have more than one goat but was wondering if I got another kid next spring (so my does would then be 1 year old) could that kid live with the two does happily or would I need to get two kids at the same time?

You'll have to intro them for a couple weeks, then it'll work. Some depends on size/age of kid. They might push kid around for a while, that's goats! When I buy to add to herd, I always try for 2 -- so they have a friend from day one.
