Can an Alpaca and a Llama breed?

Yes

But if the alpaca is trying to breed the llama female that just gave birth, get her out of there! He could really do some damage to her after just giving birth. Alpacas are one of the roughest breeders in the livestock world.

No, she doesn't have a male any more but did up until X-mas. I just wondering if the Llama , Sebrina was not really preg. when we got her but possibly bred by the male Alpaca....... since it seems like so much time was past when she was due.... I was just wondering. I'll have to try and find out the dates.

Yes they can but this is wrong breeding .. so why would anyone want to do this?

If it had happened it was not intentional........ She had 2 Alpacas before the llama and then the llama decided she wanted to be with the others and cried and cried until she let them stay together Llama was suppose to be already bred..... i was just curious.
