Can ear mites cause a doe to avoid "lifting"?

I have a doe that won't lift, but doesn't otherwise seem pregnant. I recently found a ear mite scab in the bottom of her ear. Can this cause her to not breed?

I would think it has more to do with the lack of light. Winter time is not a natural time for them to breed.

I haven't tried breeding her again due to the mites, but the initial mites have all died off. I will give her another dose of ivomev tomorrow to kill all the eggs that will hatch this week. Then in another 5 days or do, I might try breeding again...
