I can't remember what kind of fruit tree is harmful - is it cherry?

One of my customers has an organic apple orchard - I asked for their pruning debris - is this ok? I'm supposed to pick it up this afternoon but thought I should ask first, just in case.

It's going to be mostly leafless branches that have been pruned off.

I rent our property from a small orchardist and he's offered me the prunings from all the trees around us but I know he sprays the heck out of them and I really don't want to be feeeding it to my girls.

OMGosh, you lucky woman! They love apple tree anything!

Edited to add: I don't know of any fruit tree that is harmful, and I live in an area that literally every kind of fruit can grow.

A little OT, but I love it when my girls trim the eucalyptus tree...they have wonderful cough drop breath afterward.

last I knew the only cherry tree you have to worry about is the Choke Cherry Tree. It is great for dogs with kennel cough, but deadly for goats!

PS: if you want them to have the mintiest smelling breath, give them black birch sapplings! My little herd goes NUTS over black birch sapplings in the fall!!

and yup, only cherry is a no no! sometimes my goats break out and head for the orchard, they nibble the bark on all the trees... argh... but always avoid the cherry, they know what they need...
