Can I feed my donkey if...

My donkey is being gelded tomorrow morning, should I not feed him before the procedure? Not sure! thanks.

I would call the vet and ask them. Sometimes you can get different answers and it would be best to do what the vet wants.

He should only require a local so feeding him should not matter but I would go light and only hay. Don't let him drink a lot though.
