Can kids drink cold milk?

Can bottle kid goats drink cold milk replacment? I mix the milk every night and leave enough for the next morning so my uncle can feed the goats. I have been warming the milk at night and he warms in the morning. Can they drink it cold or does it need to be warmed?

I would say warm it because that would be a big shock to their tummy. We have fed room temp milk in a pinch but we had no other choice. She did fine and drank fine but she was especially excited for her next warm bottle.

By 8 weeks or so I stop worrying about if it is warm or cold. Usually it is warm because ours goes straight from our does to our kids. In the past this has not been the case. I watched to be sure there were no problems but they were already drinking water from the bucket and eating hay and grain when I fed the cold milk. I am not sure if others have done this or not.

@dejavoodoo114 - Could I feed mine milk that is straight from the refrigerator? It's whole cows milk.

its going ok one passed away with in days of getting him so we are done to one and he is doing great

mine is 4 weeks and eating hay grain and grass and drinking water. How old should he be when i wean him someone told me 6 weeks and others are syaing 8?

Thank you I am thakfull that I didnt lose the both but its still not easy loosing one.
