Can sheep have rolled oats?

I was wondering if sheep can have rolled oats like the oats we eat.

Not recommended as they are too dry and will swell when water is drunk.

Here is an old sheep of mine eating made up porridge (so with milk and sugar), put out for the chickens(!).Not recommended.

We have fed it, but I agree with @Sheepshape that it's not an ideal feed. We actually prefer to feed whole oats, the sheep digest it better.
