Can you delete your own posts?

I have searched and looked in several catagories and can't find any delete option for my own post it has an EDIT but no delete.
So I deleted what I wrote and filled it with blank.
I am just wodering how come that's not an option .

We've run into problems when someone has a really long thread where tons of people have posted and the original poster deletes their post without knowing that it also deletes all the replies. So we had to remove the feature to reduce the screaming from those situations.

If you need a post or thread deleted just click the report link and we'll take care of it easy-peasy.
