I have an 8 week old wether that I just brought home with his ten week old half-brother. Both were being separated from mom during the nights, but not during the day. So they are now officially weaned since coming to my farm.

The ten week old has normal poops, but the 8 week old has clumpy turds. He seems fine otherwise, I just can't remember what causes such things? Could it be the transition to all pasture, or even the transition to new pasture?

I'm not terribly worried since everything else looks good, but just wondering.

He came from an organic goat farm and has only had herbal wormers and medications too.

Can be the transition or it can be that the stress of coming to a new place and being totally taken away from mom has brought out coccidia. I guess just keep an eye on him.
