Coffee is ready. I meet the parents in Kingwood today around noon, to give the girls back. We sure have had fun. Last night was a campfire hot dog cook out. And birthday cake! It was a blast. Kids ran and played for 2 1/2 hours. All I contributed to that was Carson the dog. He loves to play chase, and the kids couldn’t catch him. Great game! I dumped the girls in the bathtub to get the smoke smell and dirt off. Then I took a shower. I know how to have a birthday party!

Light rains most all of today....off/on kind. And only 46-48, which is more norm for Feb but, 70-80 days really spoils you 😁 flowers and trees blooming.

Feeling waaay better today. Slept about 15 of past 24 hrs. Couldn't eat yesterday...a glass of milk and 2 tea all day. Had feeling of light nausea at smell of food. Wasn't hungry. Did nothing beyond obligatory feed and water chores. Believe I'm back to "human" status today. ☺️ Body needed a day of rest, apparently. :highfive:

Having hot tea this morning. Easy on tummy. 👍

Hope everyone has a great weekend! :frow

Coffee is ready. On my first cup. I’m kicking around the idea of hitching up the flatbed, after church, and going over to sons house and loading up the round pen panels. I could set it up here and start working Reina in it. I’m thinking on it. Then I’m thinking on doing nothing after church. 😃

Hot cup of coffee, recliner, fluffy Chaos cat snuggled up, dreary wet & not quite 40° outside... it's a beautiful morning to relax.
I won't stay here long though. Went to a hellebore fair yesterday & I'm just itching to get those beauties in the ground.

My daughter's battery one is pretty quiet, until it hits the wood. 😂

Cold, wet, overcast here....not doing more than necessary here. Except, about ready to kill a rooster that just WONT shut up...😡

Need to milk a couple goats this morning, they make more than their kids want. I keep production up as I use, then sell milk once kids wean. One had a single, who likes one side, not the other. 😊 Another was a decent milker last yr and awesome production this year. Wow. Her kids are fat and she's over full. Another nursing trips is outdoing herself 👍 3 more dairy due in 3 weeks and have some full Boer bagging big. They're due 7-10 days out. Watching them. Yeah busy times here. Last batch of 5 Boer due in June. Then a few months of calm from kidding...until about Nov.

@Baymule go check Dessa -- is she bagging??

Dessa is bagging up. 145 days was Feb15. Add 10 days, for the gestational spread. The new due date is February 25……..that just passed. Now I’m figuring that she didn’t take that first day when Cooper had a fantastic day, breeding her some 30+ times. Add 3 weeks for the next heat and the two young lovers snuck another romantic interlude past me. That makes her new, NEW due date

MARCH 18!!!!

Actually any time between now and March 18 is ok with me.
