@CLSranch That's why I love my king size SleepNumber! We can transport it as mattress or I can disassemble to fit thru tight places. Hubby has his slab-o-granite and I have comfy fluff.
@Baymule I have power I was just anticipating the potential headache next Sundayish. The forecast has improved slightly with ice becoming a maybe. Still cold but if I keep my electricity it’s all good. Sorry for the confusion. I woke up grumpy but got to see twins born. So lamb count is nine. I’ll do pics soon I’ve got a lot of winterizing to do today. Hubbs got a heater for the well house but I’ll bet there’s no unemployed cord.
Ugh - now they say we're going to get some of that wonderful, clear, crisp, ridiculously cold arctic air. Oh joy! Oh wait - maybe not clear since they're talking about the possibility of frozen rain. Woo Hoo - aint this just grand?
Seriously don't know how anyone deals with this stuff for an entire winter. Bad enough here when we get it just a couple of days.
Thanks for the coffee bay. We are going to have a wonderful weather day. Upper 50's to enjoy right before the sub zero temps in a few days with @Alaskan -20 wind chills. I'd almost rather it didn't get so warm today so it wouldn't be such a shock of a 50 degree swing in the highs.
One of the wedding party members (1 of the men [very close friend] who is going to walk me down the center to FH and also is a co-worker of FH) had a close scary call yesterday. We are ALL thankful he only got a few bumps, bruises and slightly broken leg (brace on it) and the MAN UPSTAIRS was watching over him. Last night when FH got home he told me when the tow trucks (no rotator available) was putting the dump truck on its wheels it was being stubborn and miserable so I replied Yup being like the man who was driving it which being miserable and stubborn is what kept the driver alive.
