Like my bantams. If I ate one of the cockerels it would be like a 4 piece chicken nugget meal.

Nope, they're named. Once I name them it would make it difficult to eat them.

Soup is good. Especially homemade bone broth when you're not feeling well. We had a 14# turkey today, and after dinner I stripped the good meat off the bones. The bones are now taking a 12 hour bath in my large slow cooker, accompanied with some peppercorns and a splash of apple cider vinegar.

Coffee is ready! I need to clean out dead hay out of the cow panel hoop today, so can set new round bale. There’s still some good hay in there, but a huge ant hill showed up in the middle of it and the sheep aren’t interested anymore. Can’t blame them. I’m not interested either.

Up late....watching an old movie on TV (about the Temptations & Motown) so, slept late. Life in the fast lane did not go to DD for dinner, not in the mood & not hungry. All is good. Coffee fresh & hot. Chores in few min. Sunshine today.

T-day was great. I'm blessed with a great, albeit small, family. Went to DS and DDIL's for the feast. Her Mom was down for the week (first time in 5 yrs??). Wonderful to have everyone together. Don't think that we all vote the same, but who needs to go there anyway ?!! Went home with a bag full of T-Day dinner leftovers and half a loaf of homemade bread so we could do sandwiches.

Today was a sleep in a late as we could... followed by leftover sandwiches! Nice!

With 4 boys here they are changing the oil in the bobcat, putting on the chains, and moving a trailer for me.
