Thunder and rain last night, rain today, expected thunderstorms tonight as well. There's a saying here that if you hear thunder in the winter you're in for snow in a week. We'll see.

Windy Santa Anas today. We've been lucky so far and our power hasn't been turned off. Can't say the same for the rest of town or the big town to the south of us (including stores and schools). Should end sometime today/tonight I think. You all will laugh - but the wind chill makes it feel like 48 brrrrrrr. Yeah weather wimp!
