Does anyone feed their rabbits Comfrey?
We have alot of comfrey growing around here and am thinking about feeding it to the rabbits. I have been reading a book that says comfrey help keeps rabbits at their healthiest, and it is frequently recommended by natural food enthusiasts as a means to prevent or cure the diarrhea of young rabbits.

We do feed comfrey thru out its growing season. The rabbits love it ! It has such thick stems that i have not been able to dry it for winter use so far. it tends to get moldy first..and that is not good.

Plantain is Very good for diarrhea. also raspberry leaves. Also... oatmeal... the old fashioned kind in the round box... Very soothing to bunny tummies.

Thanks for the reply. I have been thinking of drying some but since the stems don't dry very well I might just try to cut them off. Thanks :)
