I was wondering where I can get a dewormer online. I checked at my local Tractor Supply store and they don't have what I need. Any suggestions on brand names or websites would be appreciated. Thanks!

i use http://www.hoeggergoatsupply.com everything they sell is for goats very nice people they have a hot line which you can call and ask any question about goats they are very helpful. needless to say i call all the time! they are priced about the same as everyone else hope this helps

The type of dewormer should be based on the worms that you are trying to rid the goat of. There is a thread on here somewhere that gives all the details of what dewormers work for what worms.

PBS animal supply has the best prices on dewormer (and other meds too) that I've been able to find. generic ivermectin injectible is something like $26.00/bottle - most other places are well over $30. I've ordered from them twice so far (new to goats) and have been happy with their service.

You can get a generic ivermectin at Jeffers for $26.69

I cross checked things that I buy from Jeffers against PBS (I'm all for saving money if I can) and found that Jeffers was cheaper on everything.

There are a lot of places to buy online. But I would cross check a few to get the best price and shipping rates. And there is not a thing wrong with generics Just double check that the active ingredients are exactly the same and you're good to go.
