Is there such a thing?
I saw on another forum via google search that someone makes their own mix for their goats/chickens and then the goats have access to their hay and loose minerals.

I have googled today....to see if there was something I could mix up for laying hens, laying ducks and Nig. D's that all could eat so if goats got into chicken feed.....

Well, two things here. One is that animals all have different nutritional requirements and ALL livestock is a fairly broad range---cattle, pigs, poultry, goats, sheep, and on all have their own needs. I would say no, there is not a feed that would cover all. Second, do it yourself feeds are not going to be very cost effective on a small scale. Unless you plan on making tons of feed at a time and know a great deal about animal nutrition to come up with a recipe for the mill to follow, it would probably be better to get species specific feeds.

Yeah, it would be nice to have a big bin that I could feed cats, dogs, chickens, and goats from. We have lots of different trash can full of feed around here.

Same here, crickets for lizards in one container.
Tupperware tub in cabinet for cat.
5 gal. bucket of mixed feed for rats.
5 gal. bucket of dog food.
40 gal. barrel with mix of layer and scratch for chickens/ducks
trash can with goat feed, alfalfa pellets in separate bags inside.
bale of hay

Add in the 2 fridges and a whole pantry for the 2 teens and 2 adults plus 4 daycare kids..... food, food everywhere!LOL

Ha, we at least got rid of the indoor pets (rats are gone, fish down the toilet, cats outside). My oldest son has been asking for a lizard for a pet (he says since I had one as a kid, he should) but I keep putting him off ;)

I personally think it would be great if they had a Purina Kid Chow.
