I have alot of thistles growing in areas of my pasture. I understand goats will eat them, which I think is great:p, but does it cause off flavors in the milk?

You'll probably have to just wait and see! :p I'd read about off-tasting milk with a variety of things, but it has not been my experience.

I give my dairy gals xmas trees, rutabagas, and the buck is in with them temporarily. No off tastes yet. But I tend to not drink milk straight, I use it in things.

I don't recall any issues with thistles.

Wild garlic on the other hand?

Let's just say the milk was undrinkable for a bit. :p
