If a doe was a triplet or quad, does it mean she will have a higher chance of having that number of kids herself?

I know that the more the doe is freshened the more kids she can have but, I don't think it works how she was born.

I was just curious because I have a doe who was a quad when she was born and I know that is not super common.

Little size is partially genetic on both sides, from the sire and dam. The other determining factors are nutrition and environment.

So yes, does from a large litter have a higher likelihood of having large litters.

I figured as much,

Last year she had twins, and she seems to look bigger this year...I know size doesn't necessarily mean anything, but, hey, a girl can dream!
