dosage on Cydectin? think I gave wrong dosage

I gave 1 cc per 100 pound, but then in my notes just now I found 1 cc per 25 lbs - quite a difference - did I not give enough?

Cydectin should be given to goats at the dosage below. All should be given orally

Injectable - 3-4ml/100#

Pour On- 1ml/10#

Paste- 2X label

guess that's why I haven't noticed a difference - didn't give enough. I have the pour-on cydectin, I will redose the boys this weekend. I'm assuming I can just act as though I hadn't dosed them at all and give the full 3-4 ml/ 10 #s? Do I need to redose again in two weeks?

Yes, I would just redo with the full dosage.

Pour on is 1ml/10#

I would do a fecal in 10days.

what does it treat/prevent?
where do you buy it?
i have goats and inject them with some magic potion my vet sold me for strongyle worms..., i believe it is simply an ivermectin like thing

Cydectin is sold at feed stores or farm stores. So is ivermectin.
cydectin comes in several forms, pour-on and injectable for cattle and drench for sheep. Some goat farmers are using any one of these given orally.
It is the same active ingredients in Quest for horses, Moxidectin is the active ingredients.
it is best known for its ability to treat barberpole worms, although it does a good job with mites and lice as well.
Like ivermectin it does not treat tapeworms.
