Can I make it so I don't get an e-mail every time I receive a PM? thanks!

I don't think you can do that for PM's. You can unsubscribe from posts to keep from getting those notifications in your email everything somebody posts.

On your PM page, when you are looking at your Inbox, look down your message list below for this:
And click on Disable to stop receiving PM email notifications.
