Hello and merry Christmas! It's been quite the few days of storm and animals.have been overall well. Today noticed a ewe had some discharge and looked and noticed a small sack. Unsure if prolapse vs is she lambing? She is doing ok overall and was eating hay with the bunch this am. How can I differentiate? She has some large utters. Side note this ewe lambed a ram lamb and still birth last year. Not sure of lambing date as there was a possible opps earlier in season. Best photos I could get. Starting to panic because.its Christmas of course and.need help.

I checked again no change.she is in pasture I saw her urinate ok. She is somewhat lame on front foot didn't see anything but will ice and snow I'm not sure but no change to vulvar area and is she out walking around. Anything to help at this point to prevent further (possible) prolapse? I know in dogs we used honey/sugar to shrink some prolapse does anything like that work in these cases? Head spinning trying to think of something..... @Mini Horses

She may be close and just some loose vaginal skin but hard to say fron just pics, rather than hands on.

You have any banamine? That helps pain & swelling. Certainly honey won't hurt her, just a concern to introduce something else as she's in field -- not controlled containment as a dog could be. Have you tried to glove up and check or push back? Of course, she's probably not tame and willing 😵‍💫

She is very tame! Thankfully prob my best ewe. I can try and push it back in some if still there. It seemed to be bubble like a sac so I was thinking lambing? Smaller than a grape but then I worried of prolapse.
