Eye issues

I was given several meat rabbits and one has an infected eye. How bad is this? Should it just be culled? Thank you for your input.

Not sure if you culled this one already. Is this the only one who shows the problem? Is it's front paws and/or nose showing wetness? You could try cleaning the stuff from around it's eye with warm water- being careful not to spread the gunk(maybe wash off using a clean piece of paper towel each time).

There are eye ointments out there- can't remember them off the top of my head.

You can get Terramycin (sp) eye ointment at farm supply stores.
