Fecal count floatation solution - hydrometer

Anyone doing their own fecals make the floatation solution use a hydrometer? I have a recipe for making the solution, but I wanted to see if anyone uses a specific hydrometer to measure the specific gravity of the solution. If so, can you give the make and model.

We use the sugar solution here and have never used a hydrometer. Can't help you there.

 

[Renegade]

We use an Epsom Salt solution. All you need to do is make sure you have a saturated solution and the specific gravity will be high enough.
