Feeding Baby Goats the Right Way

Hi,

I need some advice. I just heard from another family that has goats that one of their baby goats died because they didn't bottle feed it the right way (drowned?? Went down the wrong way?).

Can you help me understand this?

How do you bottle feed correctly then?

I don't want mine to die.

Were they actually bottle feeding or tube feeding? It would also depend on how much milk they were letting the goats drink at one time.

If you are bottle feeding and the goats are drinking it down just fine, then it should go down the right way and shouldn't go into the lungs.
