I have some N-timidator show goat feed. It says to not feed to lactating does.

What do you feed to a lactating doe besides hay?? I have on hand: oats, BOSS, alfalfa pellets, corn and milo.

Thanks,

the ration probably has a coccidiostat added to it to help control coccidiosis: monensin, rumensin, deconoquinate,or something like that? These additives are not approved by the USDA to be fed to lactating does in which the milk is used for Human Consumption....I feed a goat power ration that has monensin added to my lactating does. I do not milk them but rather leave the kids with their mothers. The monensin that the doe eats will help not only her but travels to the kid through her milk thus aiding the kid with coccidiosis control....JME...and I'm not a vet
