I am getting my Babydoll mini sheep tomorrow and I have found 3 or 4 holes along the bottom of the fence where they could get out. This is where the ground drops down away in a U shape. What is a good and quick way to fix these holes? One of them is on rock and covered with a crazy amount of thorns and other things I will not go into. How would I close off that hole?

I was also thinking of using electric fencing to graze the sheep, but they would not have access to water or shelter if I did. So how do others do it?? Also, my pony goes through fencing, would the electric shock stop him? By that I mean he squeezes his way through, slowly over time it stretches out and then one day he is on the wrong side.

I'm thinking of dividing the 4.5 acres into two sections. I'm not sure which way would be best. Horses don't graze on the hilly sides, sheep do. I was thinking of finding a way around where the sheep would be mostly on the hills and horses down where it's more level. But I'm sure things won't be even and I'd like to have them switch sides every now and then. Would it be best to just have it more cut down the middle and that is that?

Closed the holes for now, going to find a better, longer lasting way later. Prolly use stakes into the ground and then run wires or fencing.
Spent a good 20min pruning a hole into the thorn bush, should get a pic, pretty creepy looking.
