Take a look at Millie's teat structure. She is a first freshener Nigerian Dwarf who gave birth on Monday. I separated them last night from 8 PM until 5:30 AM. I got 8 oz of milk, I probably could have gotten more if I kept at it. It is very difficult for me to grip the teat to push the milk out. The teats don't "feel" like they have a lot of milk in them. They point forward and to the side. Will teat "structure" improve as I milk along. How do I improve her amount of milk? She's really not interested in eating the grain. She really wants her baby. May be she's not letting her milk down? What is your experiences and what do you guys think? Thanks guys!!!
